Scholarships and Grants

The National Museum of American Jewish Military History currently offers the following grants and scholarships:

  • Harvey S. Friedman Annual Memorial Grant

    This annual grant of $1000 was created to assist students planning on a career in the museum field. The grant is open to any student enrolled at an accredited college or university working towards a degree (either Bachelors or Masters) or certificate in a museum-related field (e.g. Museum Studies, Museum Education, Arts Administration, etc.). Deadline for submission of applications is February 3rd, 2012. The grant will be awarded at the NMAJMH's Board of Directors meeting in March 2012.

In addition to grants and scholarships offered by the NMAJMH, the Jewish War Veterans of the U.S.A. also offers scholarships to high school seniors who are direct descendants (children, grandchildren and great grand-children) of members in good standing.

The Following Grants are available:

  • Bernard Rotberg Memorial Scholarship Fund: $1000
  • Louis S. Silvey Grant: $750
  • JWV Grant: $500
